Stitching tools are used to stitch any plain fabric into the wearable garment. These tools are:

They are available in diffrent size, shapes, colors and types like cotton, silk, nylon, jari, polyster, woollen.Always use good quality of threads that are stronger.Local threads appear as weaker and left their color after wash.
7. Thimble:
Thimble is a piece of round shape which is placed on the second needle finger of the right hand.Thimble protects your finger while sewing with the hand.

CUTTING TOOLS

1. Electric Cutter: Electric Cutter is used to cut many layers of fabric.Electric cutters are used in factories to cut many layers of fabric of any materials.Electric cutter make your cutting easy to cut number of layers made by diffrent fibers.It is also a time saver cutting tool.
2. Scissor: Scissors are available in diffrent sizes,having two holes.One is for thumb and other is for four fingers.Scissors having two types one is paper cutting and the other id fabric cutting.It is available in smaller to bigger sizes.Small scissors are used to cut threads for finishingsbrown paper for paper pattern while working with the sewing machine.Fabric cutting scissors are available in having 7 to 10 inches of length.These are used in homes,institutions $ boutiques also.
3. Shears: Shears are available in the market having 12 to 14 inches length.These shears are used to cut heavy and thick materials.
4. Trimming Scissors: Length=5 to 7 inches.
It has two blades.Both are same in length.A good quality of point sharp pair of scissors is neccessory in a sewing box.
Uses----To trim embroidery threads and seams.
5. Pinking Scissors: Length=7 to 9 inches.
These scissors are the ordinary scissors in shape $ the edges are not plain.The blade of this scissors are sawtoothed insted of straight.
Uses----To cut and finish the edges of the garment in diffrent manner.It doesn't cut any fabric in a straight manner.Pinking scissors cut the desire fabric in zig-zag form.
6. Button Hole Scissor: It is used to create button hole.It is a small scissor having one screw on it.You can fit the screw in it according to button hole.
7. Hole Maker: It is used to make a hole in the fabric for specially eyelite work.Eyelite is the type of designer work that are used in garment to make stylish.
8. Pin: Pin is used to tuck the slippery fabric like Satin while cutting.Pins are made of good steel and should be fine and sharp which easily insert into the fabric.Pins are available in diffrent sizes from them 15, 16, 17 number are best for fabric.Pins and it tip should not be blunt otherwise it will make holes in the fabric.

DRAFTING TOOLS

I. 'L'Shaped Scale: This scale is made up of plastic,wood and metal.According to name it has alphabetically shped i.e.'L'.This 'L' shaped scale is equal to 12 inches of one side and 24 inches of other side or 60 centimeter.This is used to make drafting on paper and fabric to draw shape of Armhole,Neckline etc.
II. French Curve Scale: French Curve Scale is also made up of wood,plastic and metal.It is used to give diffrent type of shapes while doing drafting.
III. Leg Shaper Scale: Leg Shaper Scale is made up of wood and plastic.This scale both side is diffrent from each others.Leg shapped scale is needed to give inner leg shaping while doing drafting specially for pants and nickers.
IV. Pencil,Eareser,Compass: Always use good quality of pencil and eareser.If you use local brand of pencil,it will break again and again.Good quality earesers eares your mistake without leaving marks.Compass is used to draw curve like shapes or doing particians or some other uses.
V. Foot Ruler: It is made up of wood plastic and metal.Foot rulers are available in diffrent colors at the market.It is used to draw a straight line.You can draw a smaller to bigger line according to measurment with the ruler.One side of foot ruler marked as inches of 12 and other side marked as centimeters of 30.It is very convenient to measure smaal distance.
VI. Tailor Chalk: Tailor Chalk is used for marking on the fabric.Preferably non waxing chalk is used for transferring the marks from pattern to material.It is used to make alteration marks also.A chalk pencil also comes in the market with the smaal brush.A small brush is used for removing chalk pencil marks.Chalk pencil also comes in diffrent colors,shapes $ sizes.It s edges being sharp in drawing a fine lines.
VII. Brush: Brushes comes in the market in diffrent sizes.It is used to remove marking while drafting on the cloth.You will be free from your wrong marking through brush.

Measuring Tape: It is made of rexin,plastic,fabric and other materials also and available in diffrent colors.Fabric measuring tape is the best for taking measurment of the body.Every measuring tape is divided into sixty parts that are 60 inches,approximately one $ half meters and 152 centimeters.This is essential in clothin construction as accurate measurment.
II. Leg Measuring Tape: It is made of plastic and other material also.Leg Measuring Tape is used to take measurment of inner leg length.This measurment requires in specially pants $ nickers.This is the measurment of length without the croach line.
III. C.P.G. Tape: C.P.G. Tape is used to take measurment for Jackets and Coats.It is also called the "Direct Measuring Tape".

Every fabric required to measure first.Without measuring garment can not be made fitted.If you want to make a garment for a girl of 15yrs.You should know the measure of fabric which required. If you are going to purchase the fabric,you can't say that you want some fabric.You will have to tell how much fabric you want according to measure i.e. 2meters, 3meters etc.
1 meter = 39 inches
1 inch = 2.5 centimeter
To measure the cloth and to take measurement of the humanly body you will need that measuring tools and equipments.You can't take even one step forward without these measuring tools $ equipments.
